Game Guide

The goal is simple: keep your gotchi's average basedness as high as possible for the epoch. You do that by responding quickly to activity requests and by maintaining strong petting efficiency so decay stays slower between runs.

Win Condition

The leaderboard ranks players by average basedness over the epoch. Petting efficiency and responsiveness matter because they help your gotchi hold that basedness higher for longer.

Primary rank: Avg Basedness Tie-breaker: Completed Activities Tie-breaker: Pet Efficiency

What Raises Performance

  • Fast activity assignment: less idle time means less basedness decay.
  • High pet efficiency: better kinship upkeep slows decay between activities.
  • Consistent completion: more completed activities can break ties and unlock prize eligibility.

Core Loop

1. Connect and pick a gotchi

Your first protected action is selecting the gotchi that will represent you for the current competition epoch.

2. Check in to the resort

Once checked in, that gotchi becomes your active competitor for the epoch and receives a requested activity when enough time remains.

3. Assign the requested activity fast

Faster turnarounds keep basedness elevated because your gotchi spends less time idle and decaying.

4. Keep kinship healthy

Better petting efficiency slows decay while your gotchi waits, which helps preserve average basedness over the whole epoch.

Epoch Rules

  • One active checked-in gotchi per wallet per epoch.
  • You cannot switch to another gotchi during the same epoch once the lock applies.
  • No new activity is requested inside the cutoff window near epoch end.
  • Leaderboard rank is based on average basedness for the epoch.
  • Prize eligibility requires at least 2 completed activities in the epoch.

Activities

The current gameplay loop rotates across three resort activities:

Hot Spring Meditation Cherry Garden

When an activity completes, your gotchi returns to idle. Assigning the next requested activity quickly is what protects your average basedness.

Sessions and Signing

Wallet signature is used to establish a session for protected actions. In the normal flow, you should only need to sign when the session is missing or expired.

  • Initial checked-in gotchi selection requires a valid session.
  • Choosing an activity for the checked-in gotchi requires a valid session.
  • Exploring other gotchis without checking them in should not require a fresh signature.

Quick Tips

  • Assign the requested activity as soon as it appears.
  • Use the petting monitor to keep decay slower between activities.
  • If another gotchi is already checked in, you can still explore others without re-checking them in.
  • If a valid wallet session exists, the normal flow should not ask for a fresh signature on every move.
